How the 13 Santa Challenge Works
Simple rules. Epic adventure. Let’s go.
🎯 The Goal
Visit 13 different Santas and get a photo with each one before Christmas Eve. That’s it. That’s the challenge.
📋 The Rules
- Each Santa must be different. You can’t go back to the same Santa twice and count it as a new visit.
- You must be in the photo. A photo of Santa without you doesn’t count — you’ve got to be in the frame!
- All 13 must be completed before Christmas Eve. The clock is ticking from December 1st.
- Santas can be found anywhere. Malls, tree farms, holiday markets, parades, charity events, restaurants, pop-up experiences — anywhere a real Santa appears counts.
- Document your visits. Use the tracker to log where you found each Santa and the date of your visit.
- Have fun. This is the most important rule. The challenge is meant to bring the magic back to the holidays for older kids. Enjoy every moment.
📍 Where to Find Santas
Finding 13 different Santas takes a little creativity. Here are some great places to look:
- 🏬 Shopping malls (most have their own Santa setup)
- 🌲 Christmas tree farms
- 🎪 Holiday markets and festivals
- 🎭 Santa parades and tree-lighting ceremonies
- ❤️ Charity and fundraising events (often feature Santa appearances)
- 🍽️ Holiday-themed restaurants and pop-ups
- 📚 Libraries and community centers
- 🏥 Children’s hospitals (some run Santa visits)
- 🎅 Professional Santa experiences and studios
- 🛍️ Local boutiques and small businesses doing holiday promotions

Once you’ve visited all 13 Santas and have 13 photos to prove it, you’re an official 13 Santa Challenge Champion! Share your photos, show off your tracker, and inspire other families to take on the challenge.
